Richard McCaleb, in association with various partners, has been active in land, retail and office development throughout his career. From the first neighborhood shopping center built in 1986 in partnership with Bernard Lifshutz to his most recent 18,000 square foot two building office addition to the Creekside of Bulverde development, his commitment to conservative quality has been a common theme. Some of the more significant projects include;

33,000 square foot build to suit campus building for Wayland Baptist University located on IH 35 near O'Conner Road in San Antonio, Texas. This project was built in partnership with Mark W. Bauer, Tom Green and Ed Kopplow.This project was subsequently sold to Wayland Baptist.

Five Building retail and office development built in Bulverde Texas know as Creekside of Bulverde that is home to many national retail companies including; NB Mattress, Pizza Hut, KCharles Salon, Little Caesars and regional and national office tenants including Edward Jones, Ferris Orthodontics, HDR Environmental and many more. This project was built in partnership with Mark W. Bauer and is being held as a long term investment.

13 acre retail development known as Woodlake Market located at the intersection of Rittiman Road and FM 78 in East San Antonio. The project includes an 18,000 square foot retail center along with pads that were sold or leased to IHOP, Panda Express, AutoZone and Jiffy Lube. This project was built in partnership with Mark W. Bauer, Tom Green and Ed Kopplow.

18,000 retail center at the intersection of Highway 281 and Loop 1604 in front of Costco and Wal-Mart. This project was built for Greenway Investment Company who continues to own the property. In addition to development services relating to this project, RFM Commercial continues to provide management and leasing services for the property.

30 acres Olympia Hills Market Development in Selma Texas that is now home to both Costo and Academy Sports and Outdoors. On behalf of Greenway Investment Compant in Dallas, Texas, Mr. McCaleb acquired the parcel and worked in conjunction with Greenway to secure the entitlements from the City of Selma, the Corp of Engineers and the neighborhood association for the development. RFM also provided services relative to site development and eventual sale of parcels to the end users.
